Moss Point, MS
We arrived at Caswell Springs United Methodist Church on Saturday. Weather has been perfect although expecting rain all day today.
We are working on rehabbing a house in the neighborhood. Lots of painting of interior and exterior, installing washer and dryer, hanging trim inside and out, enclosing outside hot water heater, ripping off old deck, etc etc. We are SORE, SORE, SORE.
I do not get an Internet connection so must use the church's WIFI. Also no phone service unless we make collect call. Too bad, we don't know anyone who likes us enough to accept a collect call. We drove into Pascagoula and called Sprint. We were told a Sprint tower is out and we would have service by 4 pm yesterday. Hasn't happened yet.
This weekend we are driving about 350 miles each way to visit Len's son and family in northern Alabama. Leave here Friday morning and coming back Sunday. NOMADS do not work Fridays. HOORAY! Need three days to rest these old bones.
I do hope all is well and when I can I will be checking blogs. Until then, take care.....

Sounds like a lot of hard work.
Thanks for doing such a great job in helping others. I admire you both!
Maybe you can come over to the refuge for a Saturday tour while you are in the area? :)
Would you like me to sign you up for the tour on the 11th? I can't take on the back roads of the refuge unless on a tour. It starts at 8:00 am, which is an easy drive here for you, but your friend would have to leave rather early. Let me know at altsclmarm at gmail dot com
sounds like hard work...hope you get some rest...and those muscles relax...:) I'm sure the end justifies the means...such good work you do...
Sounds like a tough job but yes in the end it is a great deed you do for others. Hope you get used to it in a few days.
What a blessing you are to those who need help. Hope you enjoy your three days and get some rest.
Now Phyllis, you know you can call me collect anytime. I know I can just mail you the charges care of general delivery :-)
Give Lucky a pat for me and a hug to Len
You're doing a great job and I hope you are rewarded by at least getting the wifi tower fixed!
