We are in our 10th week of Gate Guarding here in Huntsville. We have seen the drilling crew leave, next came the fracturing crew last week. This week it is the work-over crew. They are in the process of leaving today. What is next? The oil starts to flow into the tanks. What happens to us? We don't know but hoping within days we will no longer be needed.
Oh, for a different view than
Equipment in and out:
The cemetery across the road
The woods outside our door (although we have seen it change from bare trees to leafy green)
A few birds such as this which I think is a Titmouse (Judy?)
Mr and Mrs Cardinal
And young squirrels who REALLY like the birdseed:
We are getting increasingly frustrated with the medical community here. Not the care but the competence of the financial and clerical personnel. Both at the hospital and clinic. But that's a topic for a future blog.

Looks like an Eastern Phoebe to me (not a titmouse). :) It only eats bugs, not seeds.
Financial and clerical personnel issue must be a Texas thing. We are still fighting with the hospital where Paul had his back surgery and that was in 2010.
Phyllis, clerical competency is a thing of the past, especially in areas such as the medical community.
I guess you've been in the same spot for long enough.
Hope you get a change of scenery soon and will pray that the medical finance stuff gets sorted sooner rather than later.
Blessings
Nice bird pics!
I've forgotten what a medical bill even looks like!
I hear ya sista on the same view. Getting itchy to get outta here soon! Hope you guys do too.
I hope this gate keeping job ends soon for you. The birds and other critters are cute. But yes its time for a new view.
Gate guarding looks like it has lost its luster. Hitch itch setting in. No medical billing issues is not just a problem in Texas. Just got my bill from hospital. my 8 hour stay cost 12,000. am going to have to get that itemized, that seems absolutely ridiculous to me. So now the fun will begin.
I can imagine that the view would begin to pale after that long:)
