The NOMADS annual meeting is over. It was a blessing. We are so glad we came. There were 278 attendees and 149 rigs. The Rally was held at the Tom Johnson RV Park and Rally. This huge complex consists of a large service center, a dealership, a campground and a Rally field.

Wednesday night was our "pot luck" dinner. There were 35 tables of 8 people. Couples volunteered as hosts for each table. They were responsible for providing the main dish. The other couples selected to supply either the salad, a vegetable or dessert. Our host couple were Perry and Jeannie Hanson. Perry was also the MC of the annual meeting. They served delicious salmon and halibut. Another couple brought a huge garden salad. We brought grilled veggies = zucchini, yellow squash, red onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. For dessert a couple brought a cherry and a chocolate pie.
The entertainment that night was Ashes and Dust. Their music was outstanding. He is an ordained Methodist minister whose calling is traveling with his wife and providing musical entertainment with a message to churches and various functions.

There were seminars on Wednesday and Thursday related to various RV topics. Each morning was started with a bible study followed by singing, a short message and then a NOMADS business meeting.
Thursday night we were served a catered dinner followed by a 50's dance party. I took some pictures of people in 50's outfits but none came out very well.

Following a memorial service remembering those NOMADS who have died since the last meeting, this year's meeting came to a close this morning at 10. We decided to stay here one more day. We were packed in quite tight and since we have no schedule to follow, we decided to have a down day and watch others move out. We will be going to dinner with five other couples in about an hour.
Then after what hopes to be a good night sleep we head to Tennessee for a few weeks. This is the life!
