To our blogging friends

I just read today's post regarding our dear friend Margie from Tumwater WA that was posted by her daughter Stephanie.    Margie and her Husband Bruce were stuck by a car and killed this morning while on their usual morning walk in Pismo Beach CA.

I know I say this for each of us in this growing group of bloggers - we are deeply grieved to learn of this and pray for their children and "grands" as Margie always referred to them.

We too were shocked to read Stephanie's post on Bruce & Margie's blog. I googled Pismo Beach and read about the accident. It was horrible. I am sorry that Bruce & Margie left us in such a violent way and that their children are having to deal with this tremendous loss.

It is definitely a sad day in our RV'ing/blogging community.

Thanks for posting thisPhyllis. I am in shock. Margie felt like a close friend and it was through her that I discovered all the wonderful RV travel Blogs.

It's so awful for their family. But I'm glad they had some special times with them all over the last year. They will need all the prayers and help possible.

Blessings

Phyllis, it seems we can't escape the hand of grief. I had the pleasure of talking to Margie on the phone, she made almost daily comments on my blog, I was so looking forward to meeting her & Bruce. We have all lost a member of our extended family,Be safe out there, from the old SGT, Sam & Donna..

Like you, Phyllis, I am sitting here Sunday morning still shocked and saddened by this terrible event. It's hard to make sense of this.
